Find out what Forest fans had to say

Shaun: The first European match in 30 years lived up to expectations. We could have been out of sight by half-time had we taken our chances. In the second half, we faded as Betis grew stronger. A draw feels fair. At £10m, Igor Jesus already looks like the signing of the season. A strong start to our European journey. Come on, you Reds!

Andi: Brilliant in the first half, but the substitutions were poor. Whatever was said at half-time had the wrong effect. I just hope Nuno Espirito Santo’s good work is not undone before Christmas.

Timothy: Taking off Douglas Luiz and changing shape at half-time was puzzling, as was switching Callum Hudson-Odoi and Igor Jesus, who were among our best players on the night. Ange Postecoglou needs to rotate to keep the squad fresh, but at the moment the side needs consistency. This was a game we should have won comfortably.

Eddy: Excellent in the first half but we ran out of steam after the break. Some careless passing might have cost us, but a draw is an acceptable start.

Jeremy: A great match to watch and an incredible experience to be at a European away. Not so long ago we were in League One facing the likes of Yeovil and Hartlepool, which makes nights like this all the more special.
