Glasgow | Rangers fans can expect at least three more signings

Rangers chairman Andrew Cavenagh expects three to five more signings before the transfer window closes and admits results are not where he would like them to be. 

The Ibrox club have already added nine new faces this summer but have only one point after two Scottish Premiership games under new manager Derek McInnes. 

Pressure is already building and as proven in recent campaigns, things can fall apart for Rangers very quickly.

They also trail Polish outfit Jagiellonia Bialystok 2-1 after the first leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie last week.

Cavenagh told shareholders that business so far has been "clunky" but they are working hard to bring success to the club this season. They haven't won the title since 2021. At the very least, they desperately need to finish in the top 2 and achieve qualification to the qualifiers of the Champions League.

Cavenagh spoke at an open forum

"There's certainly work to be done."

"I don't like putting a number on it but certainly I'd hope three to five more players are coming in and a number will possibly go out."
