Gavin: It is not Brendan Rodgers who is the real issue. The board buys and sells the players, expecting the head coach to somehow mould a team from whatever they bring in. Rodgers cannot shoulder all the blame when it is the board behaving like selectors and getting it badly wrong. Celtic could compete properly in Europe, but this board refuses to take any real risks.
Alan: Celtic appear to be moving in the wrong direction under Brendan. He does not seem fully invested and the players look short of inspiration or drive. Perhaps changes are required both on the pitch and in the boardroom?
Lewis: Dane Murray was handed an opportunity and unfortunately did not take it. He was responsible for the first and third goals, completely lost with his positioning in the box and failed to intervene for the second. Callum McGregor at least found some form, though he was left battling alone. Credit to Hearts, they were excellent.
Connor: Rodgers is surely under severe pressure now. Forget the transfer window, Celtic keep losing to clubs with nowhere near the same level of resources. The football is dreadful and the lack of goals is humiliating. That responsibility lies with the manager.

Peter: A very poor display. Tough on the young players, hopefully they can learn from the experience. Momentum is crucial and Hearts have all of it while Celtic have none. Performances must improve because the board cannot act until January, so blaming them achieves little. Rodgers needs to get far more from this squad.
Martin: Once again, Rodgers looks lost for answers and takes off our best performer for someone less effective. He assembled this squad and should carry the blame. It would be better if he stepped down. Can you honestly trust him with the significant funds needed in January to repair this mess?
