Super Local Sports News Football | - Premier League | Arsenal v Leeds United kick-off

Daniel Farke’s side have collected four points from their opening three fixtures, starting with a hard-fought win over Everton. Defeat followed against Arsenal, but Leeds steadied themselves with a draw against Newcastle at Elland Road before the pause.

They return sitting 12th in the early table, two points clear of 18th-placed Fulham.

A mixed start to the season

Leeds marked their Premier League return with a narrow 1-0 victory over Everton in front of a buoyant Elland Road, yet the Championship title holders have since struggled to maintain that momentum, failing to win in their last three outings across all competitions.

A bruising 5-0 defeat at Arsenal was followed by a penalty-shootout exit against Sheffield Wednesday in the EFL Cup, before they managed only one effort on target in a goalless draw with Newcastle at home before the international break.

A closer look at the opposition

Marco Silva’s team opened their campaign with successive 1-1 draws, first away at Brighton and then at home to Manchester United, where Emile Smith Rowe found the net. Their most recent outing ended in controversy, edged out by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge despite a strong display.

Leeds’ last league victory at Craven Cottage came in 2021, when Patrick Bamford and Raphinha struck either side of half-time.

Our prediction

We think this will be a narrow Fulham win. They will be extra motivated as three points would really kickstart their league campaign. For Leeds, it will be a sign of the level they need to reach if they are to avoid relegation this season.
