What have the fans been saying then?
Katie: I was nervous beforehand, but we played a very high-pressing game. Semenyo scored some amazing goals against one of the best teams in the world, though it was deeply upsetting that his performance was overshadowed by racism. It was disgusting and I am very sorry it happened. Cherries are definitely bound for Europe.
Stephen: I watched the game with my son. Losing so late felt cruel, but the team shows real potential to develop and improve.
Paula: The team looked far better than I expected, especially with so many key players missing. Defensive errors and deflections proved costly, but while many had predicted a return to the Championship, I think we have shown we are more likely to compete near the top, even in Champions League territory.

Leigh: Considering several likely starters were injured, the team made a strong showing. We looked dangerous going forward and caused Liverpool problems. Conceding four goals was too much, but after that display I am optimistic that the Cherries will have another strong season. Our away end was great aswell. Amazing that football is now back!

Charlotte: It was an excellent performance full of energy and determination. Every player helped contain a formidable opponent, and the tactical setup was superb. Some clumsy defending cost us, but that will improve.
Charlie: A promising start for the Cherries. We expected to lose, but the team earned respect. A few small details and a bit more luck could have brought a positive result. Semenyo was immense. With Cook and Christie back, a tighter midfield could bring out the best in the team, while the defence continues to gel. It will get better.
