Snoop Doins joins Swansea's ownership group as a minority stakeholder. The 53-year-old rapper, real name Calvin Broadus, was an unexpected presence as the club unveiled their new home kit for the 2025–26 season last weekend.
The announcement follows the earlier involvement of Luka Modric, who took a stake in the club in April before sealing a move to AC Milan this week.
Swansea’s current owners, American businessmen Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen, completed their takeover last November and have since made clear their ambitions to boost the club’s global profile and commercial income. Snoop Dogg's involvement is understood to have stemmed from a shared connection with the duo.

With more than 100 million followers across his social media platforms, Snoop Dogg has pledged “to do all I can to help the club”, with the Swans hinting that his role may extend well beyond a cameo appearance in the kit launch.
The club described the hip-hop star as someone who has “always had a deep love of sport”, and have commemorated his arrival with a mural at the Swansea.com Stadium’s West Stand.
The move is the latest attempt by the club to grow its international reach and attract new investment in line with profit and sustainability regulations.
The perspective of a Swansea fan

Jack told us: "This really does feel like the next episode for Swansea City. The owners say they’re aiming to open new doors for the club, and bringing someone with Snoop’s worldwide following into the mix definitely feels like a big statement.
"He made it clear he’s buzzing to be part of it, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the game. With his backing, the hope is that Swansea can build a stronger squad and push for something special on the pitch."
Graham, a Swansea Season Ticket holder, also gave his perspective, saying: "You know, I feel this is fantastic news for the club and could benefit the city of Swansea as a whole. I am partial to a bit of Snoop Dog, so I am thrilled having him as a co-owner."
