Substitutes Callum Osmand and Camilo Duran inspired Celtic to their first Europa League victory of the season with a chaotic comeback against Turkish giants Besiktas.
Junior Olaitan's goal, scored from the rebound after Sam Johnstone had saved his penalty, appeared to condemn Celtic to an unwanted club record of five consecutive defeats in European competition.
It was a completely different Celtic side in the second-half
However, Martin O'Neill's side were transformed by a triple substitution shortly after the hour mark, with Osmand, Duran and Colby Donovan introduced.
Osmand and Duran scored three goals between them, while Osmand also provided an assist in a frantic final half hour. Celtic fought back to take the lead, were pegged back by Besiktas, before Duran struck the decisive goal in the 87th minute.
Still work to be done for the Scottish champions
As good as the victory will feel the morning after the night before, the substitutes' performances will not mask everything. There are still clearly some problems but that's for another day. This could be the catalyst to inject some desperately needed confidence.
