An interesting squad addition for Bradford Bulls

Bradford Bulls have re-signed Warrington Wolves second-rower James Bentley on a three-year deal for the 2027 season.

The 29-year-old Bentley came through Bradford's academy and made his debut against Oldham in 2016 aged 18.

He had stints in Super League with St Helens and Leeds Rhinos before joining Warrington on a one-year deal for this season.

In terms of honours, Bentley won three League Leaders’ Shields as well the 2020 Super League Grand Final at Saints. He also appeared at Old Trafford for the Rhinos in 2022.

Bradford looking to improve their squad to go again in 2027

It hasn't been the easiest re-introduction for Bradford Bulls back into the Super League. They have won six and lose sixteen of their twenty-two matches this season. This signing will certainly improve their chances ahead of next season's campaign.

“I am buzzing at the opportunity to come back to Bradford and get to play where it all started, now the club is back in Super league it makes it extra special and I want to come back to win trophies and bring silverware back to Bradford.
