How would you rate the season out of 10?

Probably 3/10. We began the campaign as overwhelming favourites for the Premier League title, winning our opening five matches, only for it all to drift into complete insignificance. I know plenty of supporters who simply stopped watching towards the end of the season. The overriding emotion has been one of utter boredom.

Best moment of season and why?

There are not many contenders. If I had to choose one, it would be Dominik Szoboszlai's free-kick against Arsenal. It came early in the season and secured a victory over the side expected to be our closest challengers. While Arsenal continued to improve, our campaign unravelled in spectacular fashion.

Player of the season and why?

Szoboszlai, largely because he has been the only player to maintain anything approaching a consistent standard throughout the season.

Who has been the unsung hero and why?

Rio Ngumoha. The talent is obvious and we should have seen far more of him this season. I hope he is given a genuine opportunity to establish himself in the starting line-up next term. He has the potential to become a truly exceptional player.

What was the biggest disappointment?

Arne Slot. He took what had been an exciting side and turned it into a difficult watch. His relationship with Mohamed Salah appeared to deteriorate, and with Salah now leaving, that only adds to the frustration. Too often there seemed to be excuses rather than accountability, and supporters have grown weary of it.

What needs to change this summer?

Many fans would say the manager, but that appears highly unlikely given FSG's commitment to Slot. Instead, he needs time to reflect, return with a clearer plan and show a greater willingness to adapt. Significant improvements are required if the club is to move forward.

Major hope for next season?

That the team rediscovers some fight. Too often this side has been outworked and outfought. Physical opponents have consistently come out on top in individual battles, making matches increasingly painful to watch. The midfield needs greater energy and resilience, and the squad as a whole must show more commitment. Supporters simply want to see players giving everything for the shirt once again.
