Glasgow | Celtic deserved to win the league
It's time for an unpopular opinion from Josh T
The reaction to Celtic winning their last two matches and winning the title has been absurd
First of all, I'm not a Celtic fan and have no real interest in Scottish football but like many others, I watched the final match of the league season with great interest.
The scenes when Celtic scored the 2nd goal were amazing. The scenes when the third went in were horrible but on almost any other occasion, those scenes would have been greeted with thousands of social media users called Footballawaydays posting "limbs".
Before that was Celtic’s "controversial" midweek win over Motherwell
That's probably a penalty. Again, it shouldn't be a penalty, but this is where we're at now. Eurosuperfootball.blogspot.com Superlocalnews.blogspot.com

Now, I've been critical of VAR, and this probably wasn't a penalty five years ago but rules have changed and it now probably is. This wasn't a conspiracy.
Celtic won that game and put the pressure back on Hearts.
If we're being honest, Hearts were poor on Saturday. Let's not let the "drama" at the end take away from that. After the season they've had, they had the squad to beat Celtic but the players and manager invited pressure on themselves.
Sure, it would have been nice for Hearts to win but it's a 38 game season. Celtic finished top and they deserved the title.
No, the establishment haven't helped Celtic win the league
Anyone knows anything about the history of Scottish football knows the establishment doesn't like Celtic. The political element of their support polarised opinion but they certainly haven't done anything that would suggest they be helped by the "establishment".
Everyone just needs to stop talking for a bit and calm down.
